Acorn Aluminium has secured a new contract to deliver aluminium glazing systems for a major new logistics development in Corby.
Due to start in June 2025, Rockingham Gateway will comprise a large-scale office and warehouse space designed by pHp Architects . Delivered by main contractor, VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd , on behalf of Mulberry Commercial Developments, the project will incorporate standard performance glazing, as well as a canopy and automatic entrance systems.
Acorn is responsible for the full design, manufacture, and installation of development’s façade elements. This includes 600m² of aluminium systems, with 200m² of curtain walling using Senior Architectural Systems’ SPW600 and SF52 profiles.

The Senior SF52 curtain walling and SPW600 window systems specified bring a host of benefits to the scheme, including outstanding thermal and security performance.
With slim sightlines of just 52mm to maximise natural light, combined with thermal performance properties that exceed current building regulations, SF52 is fully CWCT and EN13830 weather tested. The flexible and versatile curtain walling system is also 100% recyclable with a life expectancy of more than 40 years, adding to its sustainability credentials.
SPW600 is a three chamber, 75mm polyamide thermally broken aluminium window system offering a wide variety of window styles. Available in single or dual colour, this robust system is Secured by Design accredited for added peace of mind.
