Acorn Aluminium has successfully completed a rigorous testing and approvals process to be able to offer BS EN 12101-2 accredited NSHEV (Natural Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilators) windows.
A new addition to our commercial window offer, the smoke activated system opens in the event of fire, channelling harmful smoke and gases away from corridors, stairs and lobbies.
Designed specifically for commercial applications, Acorn Aluminium achieved BS EN 12101-2 compliance in December, having been rigorously tested and independently accredited by SE Controls.

“We are now fully accredited to manufacture windows with smoke activated ventilation systems and can also offer full certification and declarations of compliance with BS EN 12101-2.
